PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested DBI Properties director Datuk Nuruliman A. Rahman, better known as Boy Iman (pic), over fraud allegations involving millions of ringgit.

Federal Commercial Crime Inves-tigation Department director Comm Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said police received 188 reports on fraud involving house sales by the firm and Syarikat Juta Kelulut Global Resources (SJKGR).

He said total losses suffered by victims was estimated to be RM6.2mil.

“However, after payment was made, the houses were not built,” Comm Acryl Sani said in a statement yesterday.

He said after conducting an investigation at Wisma DBI, police also seized two cars – a Nissan Fairlady and BMW E92 – and three mobile phones.

A doctorate parchment from Samaritan Mission International University and several documents were also seized.

Comm Acryl Sani said police also arrested two main suspects at a condominium in Setapak.

The two, aged 45 and 29, were from SJKGR.

Two mobile phones and various company documents were also seized during the arrest.

Comm Acryl Sani said all the suspects were remanded for two days from yesterday under Section 420 of the Penal Code.
