KOTA KINABALU: Two islanders from northern Sabah facing life-threatening ailments are getting medical treatment thanks to the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).
The MMEA deployed two patrol vessels to transport Banggi islander Peraman Kahil, 35, and village chief Otomardika Surahim, 51, from nearby Pulau Mandi Darah after being alerted to their condition at about 9pm on Sunday.
