Three cops deny taking bribe


GEORGE TOWN: Three policemen claimed trial in a Sessions Court to receiving RM10,000 from a suspected drug offender as an inducement not to act against him.

L/Kpl Muhammad Farid Nordin, 28, L/Kpl Mohd Zulkifly Mat Nor, 28, and Kons Zainoor Ariffin Rosli, 25, were jointly charged with another person still at large under Section 17 (a) of the Malaysian Anti-Cor­ruption Commission Act.
