Malaysians spring into action to offer aid in wake of hospital blaze

JOHOR BARU: In true Malaysian spirit, people set their differences aside and were quick to offer help as soon as the fire broke out in Hospital Sultanah Aminah’s intensive care unit.

Representatives from NGOs, businesses and local authorities were seen handing out food packets, dried food and bottles of mineral water to patients, family members and hospital staff who were affected by the fire as well as those on duty.
