Man, his two kids found dead in Segambut apartment

KUALA LUMPUR: A 34-year-old man and his two children - a three-year-old girl and her six-month-old brother - were found dead in their apartment unit in Taman Sri Sinar, Segambut, here.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm R. Munusamy said the body of the man, identified as Cheah Hing Soon, was found sprawled on the floor of the master bedroom of the second floor unit.

The bodies of the two children were packed in separate plastic containers covered with large plastic bags in a room.

ACP Munusamy said police received a report from the man’s wife at about 12.15pm about the gruesome find.

He said that the victims were believed to be dead for about three days and there was no sign break-in at the apartment unit.

He police also brought the man's wife, aged 35, to the police station to record her statement.

The case has been classified as murder.
