KUALA LUMPUR: Taman Tugu is really about giving back to the public and its scope is much larger than just a park and trees, said Khazanah Nasional Bhd managing director Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar.
Acknowledging public concerns over the up to RM650mil price tag, Azman said around 15% or roughly RM100mil would be set up for the maintenance and operation of the park for up to 12 years, to be undertaken by a public trust which would own and manage the assets.
