Weak earthquake hits Ranau

KUALA LUMPUR: A weak earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale, occurred in Ranau, Sabah, at 6.30pm Friday.  

According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the quake's epicentre was 6.0 degrees north and 116.6 degrees east and 11km west of Ranau.
