IIUM debaters are Australasian champs

PETALING JAYA: The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) debate team are the newly-crowned winners of the 2016 Australasian Intervarsity Debating Championships (Australs), a first for any Asian university in the tournament's 40-year-history.

The Australs win comes only a month after the same team were crowned Asian debate champions for the second year running.
