KUCHING: Barisan Nasional swept to an emphatic victory in the 11th Sarawak election on the back of an urban swing to the coalition.
It was sweet revenge for Barisan’s Chinese candidates in particular, who wrested back five urban seats from DAP while retaining Bawang Assan and Senadin and winning the new seat of Batu Kitang.
