Indonesian jailed two years for having items related to violence

KUALA LUMPUR: A mechanic was jailed two years by the High Court here for possessing a handphone containing images and vi­deos related to violence and mili­­tant groups – Islamic State, al-Qaeda and Mujahideen Indo­nesia Timur.

High Court Judicial Com­mis­sioner Nordin Hassan meted out the sentence against Ihsan, an Indonesian, after he admitted to the charge yesterday.
