Action already under way on security threats

KOTA KINABALU: Malaysian security forces are already acting on possible security threats in Sabah’s west coast as evident in a massive raid on the Filipino migrant settlement in Telipok three weeks ago.

An academician specialising in Sabah’s migrant issues said the Feb 13 raid at the settlement some 25km from here showed that Malaysian authorities were aware of the pre­sence of those who were security threats here.
