KUALA LUMPUR: A chief executive officer, who is facing an internal inquiry after he reported alleged improper conduct to the police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, wants the court to protect him as a whistleblower.
Dr Syed Omar Syed Agil, 56, who was appointed CEO of Institut Profesional Baitulmal Sdn Bhd on Sept 1, 2014, claimed he was suspended on Oct 7 last year.
