Dr M prepared to be arrested, even under Sosma

PUTRAJAYA: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (pic) said that although the Government may prosecute him under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) 2012, he will still continue to highlight what he claims are abuses of power by the ruling Government.

“Unless somebody speaks up, the Government will get away with doing all kinds of wrong things. As senior citizens, as people who are involved intimately with the politics of this country, we think that something should be done,” Dr Mahathir said at the Perdana Leadership Foundation alongside other prominent Barisan Nasional leaders who gathered in an unprecedented show of solidarity.
