Thousands late for work as flash floods, accidents stall Penang traffic

GEORGE TOWN: Thousands were late for work here Wednesday as they ushered in the start of another wet season on the island this morning.

Traffic was almost at a standstill along all main roads, thanks to the continuous rain from about 3am, flash floods in the city and two accidents.
