JOHOR BARU: Illegal immigrants were caught hiding in drains and between wooden planks during a raid conducted by the state Immigration Department near a construction site here.
Its assistant deputy director Gajengra Bahadur said the group was caught off guard when a team of 70 officers moved in and raided the compound at around 10am in Taman Larkin Perdana here on Tuesday.
