PETALING JAYA: Offering help to disaster victims should be welcomed. But, without proper coordination and planning, the intended recipients may not receive the help they sorely need, says Mercy Malaysia.
Its president Datuk Dr Ahmad Faizal Perdaus said an effective disaster preparedness and management would not be possible without full coordination among the public and private sectors providing the assistance.
