Unite for your own good, Dr M tells Malays


KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad urged Malays to unite for their own good or risk losing a government that looks after their interests.

In a speech at the Kelab Sultan Sulaiman yesterday evening organised by Gerakan Melayu Bersatu Demi Islam, Dr Mahathir said Malays are now divided, and that could mean defeat for Umno by the next general election.
