Appreciate Islamic history and art, says Rais

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians should appreciate Islamic art and history which had contributed to the forming of the Islamic community as it is today, said socio-cultural adviser to the Government Tan Sri Dr Rais Yatim.

Speaking at the launch of the “Symbols of Power and Beauty: The Collection of the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia” exhibition at the Islamic Arts Museum, he said such exhibitions would educate further the public about the Islamic community.
