Nancy Shukri: Drafting of laws should be discussed in committees before Parliamentary tabling

NUSAJAYA: The drafting of laws should be discussed in a committee before they are tabled to save debating time in Parliament, said Nancy Shukri.

The Minister in the Prime Minister's Department said discussion by the Parliamentary Privilege Committee or the Law Reform Committee would ensure Members of Parliament had enough time to debate, discuss and to make changes to proposed laws before they were tabled.
