KUALA LUMPUR: The number of illegal logging incidents at permanent forest reserves in Malaysia has increased three-fold, jumping from 47 incidents in 2013 to 150 last year.
Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri G. Palanivel said that among the 150 illegal logging incidents reported last year, most of it occurred in Sarawak, which recorded 121 cases.
