Hisham: Malaysia to focus more on citizens influenced by IS

KUALA LUMPUR: Putrajaya will not join international efforts in taking a direct action against the Islamic State as it focuses more on Malaysian citizens influenced by the militant ideology, said the Defence Ministry.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (pic) told this in the Dewan Rakyat in a written answer to Teresa Kok (DAP-Seputeh), who asked whether the Government was planning to send its troops and weapons to fight against the IS.
