PETALING JAYA: Several non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have asked both the Selangor state and federal governments to stop pointing fingers at one another over the lapsed water industry restructuring deal and demand that both parties return to the negotiation table as soon as possible.

The Water and Energy Consumer Association (Wecam), the Federation of Consumer Association of Malaysia (Fomca) and Forum Air Malaysia hope the restructuring will be completed by this year.
