PETALING JAYA: Negri Sembilan’s proposal for a would-be Muslim convert to dissolve his or her civil marriage before converting to Islam is a just and practical solution to the conversion controversies, said MCA.
Its Syariah law and policy implementation special task force chairman Gan Ping Sieu said the initiative was “fair, compassionate and founded on the Islamic value of justice”.
