Sabah minister: Probe allegations of student forced to embrace Islam by teacher

KOTA KINABALU: A state minister wants police and the Education Department to get to the bottom of allegations that a teacher had converted a student into Islam without his parents’ consent. 

State Community Development and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Jainab Ahmad Ayid said the case should also be investigated by the Sabah Religious Affairs Department.
