Cat shelter owner and worker fined for causing pain, suffering to 17 cats


KUALA LUMPUR: A cat shelter home owner and a worker were fined a total of RM1,100 for causing unnecessary pain and suffering to 17 cats, four of which died, under the centre's care.

Norhazlin Ibrahim, 39, was fined RM800 in default eight days' jail while her worker Helmy Jasman Sulaiman, 27, were fined RM300 in default three days' imprisonment.
