PETALING JAYA: Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has slammed an online news portal for giving the impression that sex blogger Alvin Tan and activist Ali Abd Jalil were political enemies that were forced to seek refuge overseas.
In a Facebook posting on Monday, Khairy, who is also Umno Youth chief, said the article had given the idea that the duo had to flee from the government's oppression that did not allow the freedom of speech.
