Taiwan beckons varsity students

PETALING JAYA: University students stand a chance to head to Taiwan for an all-sponsored trip as cycling race volunteers.

All they need to do is to take the Test of English for International Communications (TOEIC) before Dec 23 and apply as a volunteer for the Tour de Taiwan cycling race.

Two Malaysian university students, aged 18 and above, who meet the TOEIC requirements, will be selected for the race to be held from March 20 to 26 next year.

Ten finalists will be announced in December and will go through the TOEIC speaking test before being interviewed.
