Uthayakumar: I won’t join any political party

KAJANG: Hindraf founder P. Uthayakumar (pic) walked out from Kajang prison after being held for a year and a half, promising that he will not join any political party.

Lawyer P. Uthayakumar at the Selayang Magistrate Court. He was defense counsel for five Hindraf members who were charged for joining the group which was banned by the Government.

“I walked into the prison with this orange shirt,” he said, pointing to his trademark Hindraf shirt.
