Mum reports son to police for abusing his wife

A MAN, who has allegedly been torturing and hitting his 30-year-old wife since she married him two years ago, was detained after his own mother lodged a police report against him, reported China Press.

The 57-year-old mother only found out that the wife had been living in fear when the couple came to visit her in Kuala Lumpur with their two children recently.
