Cloud-seeding helps boost Sg Selangor dam level


SHAH ALAM: The joint cloud-seeding exercise by the Meteorological Department and Malaysian Air Force over the past four months has resulted in a 1.56% increase in the Sungai Selangor dam level.

Selangor exco member Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi said a total of 344.3mm of rainfall was recorded at the catchment area in August, bringing its level up to 33.40%.
