PAS Youth defends Unit Amal amid possible police action


PETALING JAYA: PAS Youth has defended its party volunteer corps Unit Amal amid possible police action against them following arrests of Penang Voluntary Patrol Unit (PPS) members on Sunday.

Its chief Suhaizan Kayat said Unit Amal are different as the volunteers are only involved in humanitarian and social activities, unlike PPS which was founded by the DAP-led Penang state government.
