NEW DELHI: The absence of the Malaysian woman who was drugged and raped in Jaipur, Rajasthan, will not affect the prosecution of the accused as enough evidence has been collected to nail him.
The victim’s absence would not have any impact on the prosecution as police had recorded her statement before a magistrate before she left for Malaysia, according to a Times of India news report, quoting an unnamed police officer, yesterday.
