Jais internal probe underway, officers face possible disciplinary action

SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Islamic Affairs Department (Jais) will initiate disciplinary action against its enforcement officers who disrupted a Hindu wedding on Sunday if an internal investigation finds they had breached procedures.

"We are conducting an internal investigation to determine what transpired," said Jais public relations and publications unit deputy director Nurhamizah Othman in a statement.
