Burst water pipe affects traffic near Curve (UPDATED)

PETALING JAYA: A burst 900mm water pipe in Persiaran Suria, Mutiara Damansara wreaked traffic havoc around The Curve, Ikano and Ikea shopping centres on Saturday afternoon, but flooding has now receded and traffic is returning to normal.

An MRT Corp spokesman said the 10.15am incident caused water to gush out onto the intersection of Persiaran Surian and Jalan PJU 7/8, and even into the basement carpark of the Ikano Power Centre, reaching around 10 carpark lots in Basement P2.
