Noh Omar not contesting in Umno supreme council election

Noh said his decision to do so came after news reports misquoted him as interfering in the party’s branch and division elections.

“I only responded to a question from a reporter and I did not specifically indicate any leaders,” he said in a press statement issued on Thursday.
