TAWAU: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has foiled an attempt to smuggle 18 rare Coconut Crabs into Sabah.

Tawau MMEA enforcement chief commander (maritime) Anor Jaafar said that the live crabs were seized from a boat in Terumbu Tanduk off Semporna last Sun­day.
