385 illegal petty traders nabbed


KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) nabbed 385 foreign migrants for illegal petty trading in an operation conducted in Jalan Pasar (Pudu) and Jalan Silang here.

DBKL enforcement department deputy director Minhad Ahmad said that in the three-hour operation starting at 11.30am, the team arrested 138 Bangladesh, 117 Nepal, 105 Myanmar, 10 Indo-nesian, 10 Indian and five Pakistan nationals.
