Light airplane crashes at Tioman airport, no casualties

KUANTAN: A light airplane crashed at the Pulau Tioman airport Friday, but there were no casualties reported.

Singaporeans Salem Ibrahim, a lawyer who was also the pilot, and passenger Foo Shing Yng survived the crash of the privately-owned Piper 34-200 aircraft while attempting to land at the airport.
