Two more Banting accused claim assault

BANTING: Another two of the four accused in the Banting quadruple murders told the Telok Datok magistrate’s court here that they, too, have been assaulted in prison.

Defence counsel Pushpa Ratnam told the court that her clients — farmworkers T. Thilaiyalagan, 19 and R. Matan, 20 — had been “beaten and roughed up” while in Kajang prison.
