Istana Negara project: Contractors who haven't paid workers to be blacklisted

KUALA LUMPUR: Contractors who violated work regulations, including failing to pay workers, in the new Istana Negara project will be blacklisted by the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB), Works Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor said.

Expressing his sympathy over the predicament of foreign workers who claimed they were not paid their wages, Shaziman said he had asked the CIDB Monday to investigate the complaints.
