BOLLYWOOD producer Ektaa Kapoor is making a movie on the life of Silk Smitha, the late South Indian screen siren who had a successful film career but a tragic personal life, reported Makkal Osai.
Smitha was the top “item” girl in Tamil and Telugu movies during the 1980s. She made her debut in the Sivakumar-starrer Vandichakaram and went on to rule the field until her death in the mid-1990s.
