SABAK BERNAM: Selangor has emerged as the state that gets the highest electricity rebate in the country — to the tune of RM12.9mil for bills of RM20 and below since Oct 2008 till May this year, says Deputy Minister for Energy, Green Technology and Water, Noriah Kasnon.
She said during that period 1,204,741 Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) customers received the rebate that was introduced in the 2009 Budget.
