Fire leaves 600 Punans homeless

MIRI: Over 600 natives of the Punan minority ethnic group have been left homeless after fire swept through their century-old longhouse at Kakus in the Ulu Tatau sub-district.

The 2am fire destroyed the wooden longhouse, which comprised 65 living quarters.
