KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd welcomes any group to set up a renewable energy power plant as an alternative to the controversial proposed RM1.4bil 300MW coal-fired power plant in Sandakan.
However, such a power plant must be ready within the next two years, and the power be sold at the current rate that SESB buys from other independent power producers in the state.
