Social issues need to be addressed

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation has lauded the move to launch a pilot project in 10 selected areas in the Klang Valley, to reduce social ills and crimes. 

Its chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said it was a good step to address the nation's social issues and find ways to overcome them particularly with the numerous social problems such as drug addiction, juvenile delinquency and crime, child abuse, vandalism, littering and moral degradation.
