KUALA LUMPUR: Local independent writer and director Mark Tan is set to make his mark as one of Malaysia’s up-and-coming talents when his directorial debut, Jarum Halus, hits Golden Screen Cinemas International Screens in the Klang Valley and Penang on Jan 10.
The film, which has an ensemble cast featuring newcomer Christien New, Razif Hashim (Goodbye Boys), Juliana Ibrahim (Gubra) and Datuk Rahim Razali, is a modern adaptation of William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Othello.
