SEREMBAN: Malays should regard the involvement of non-Muslims in the halal industry as a challenge that will spur them to strive harder and be more successful, World Halal Forum chairman Khairy Jamaluddin said.
Rather than view the non-Malays as interfering in the industry, the Malays must accept their involvement, especially since they meet the conditions and standards set by Malaysia's Islamic Development Department (Jakim), he said.
