Better bus services in Kuching with merger

KUCHING: Bus commuters in the state capital can expect improved services following a major step taken by five Kuching-based bus companies in forming a joint-venture firm. 

The new firm – Kuching City Bus Services Sdn Bhd (KCBS) – was set up by Chin Lian Long Motor Vehicle Co Bhd, Petra Jaya Transport (S) Sdn Bhd, Regas Transport Company Bhd, Sarawak Transport Company Bhd and Bau Transport Company Bhd and will operate a fleet of more than 200 buses.
