KUALA LUMPUR: Negotiations with independent power producers (IPPs) to reduce the capacity reserves that they sell to Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) will take longer than expected, said Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Seri Lim Keng Yaik.
“We are still talking. The issue is more complicated than I had thought. I have to respect the sanctity of the power purchase agreements,” Lim told pressmen after launching the EZ 2 Own Broadband PC programme here.
