SEPANG: Bollywood hunk Aamir Khan is in Malaysia for the first time but unfortunately for him it will be too short a visit.
“It is really a pleasure to be here as I have always wanted to visit Malaysia. But I hope to be back here next time for a proper holiday,” he added, saying he was looking forward to tucking in some sumptuous local food.
Aamir, 41, arrived at KLIA at about 9pm last night after flying in from Mumbai, looking relaxed in a grey T-shirt, white jacket and brown cap.
The Indian heartthrob is in Malaysia for a one-day film shoot for his upcoming film Fanaa (Mesmerising). With him is a small film crew of 16 people “as it is a very small shoot only”.
Aamir shot to stardom in 1988 in hit movie Holi, which first launched him as the new Bollywood hero.
He is still a much sought-after actor and is said to be in the same league as Shah Rukh Khan.
